A BICYCLE JAM NAMED SATURDAY

The Gallery Bicycle Jam is a monthly event centred around two wheels. You are invited to come over to The Gallery and learn about basic bicycle maintenance, how to change a tyre, adjust your brakes, find your riding position and also to meet like-minded people who enjoy riding bicycles. The Gallery Bicycle Jam is a place to share bicycle stories, and plan mini-adventures and multi-country tours (well why not?) or just have a cup of tea and fix a puncture from that old stack of inner tubes you have!

Bike stand provided, bring your own tools and pump to begin with!

Celebrating Bicycles!
Follow the Gallery podcast to hear interviews stories and gems from adventurers from around the world, you never know who you will meet here in The Gallery!

The plan is to set up a relaxed bicycle meet up, a gathering of like~minded people, we can chat bikes, plan and go on rides and then finish up in The Gallery for a cup of tea, coffee or glass of wine. Soup and sandwiches will be available to buy prior to a ride so bring a flask along and/or sandwich box to help reduce the need for unnecessary takeaway usage and/or litter.

question:
If I bring my bike to get a puncture repaired, will you do it for me?
HOLA:
No, but you can learn how to do it yourself, or I can recommend Tom Vamos, a great bicycle mechanic, located just around the corner from The Gallery.
question:
I'd like to come on a bike ride with fellow riders, what do I do?
HOLA:
Just turn up and meet like-minded people and you can organise your ride with help from Tom or other cycle enthusiasts, with the additional help of superb apps, like Komoot!
question:
I'm interested in doing a short bicycle tour, will other people be interested too?
HOLA:
Well, I hope so! That's the reason for these meet-ups, to get like-minded people together to chat about bicycles, plan some mini-adventures and to see where it all takes us!
